Last year started to get into pole photography and this year also added some aerial hoop and hammocks to my portfolio. (Check my Insta for more of those.)

I absolutely adore those type of performances and for quite some time had hoped to add further burlesque/circus style disciplines and capturing a fire performance was high up on my list of things to do.

Needless to say so when Jen Ga suggested we do a fire shoot I was in equal parts excited and scared. With the mix of shadow and light and additional movements these are some of the more difficult images to capture but enjoyed every minute of it and am already hoping to do some more in the future.
